Resonic Player is a unique audio player that gives a waveform view of the file being played among other special features. The player has a slick graphical user interface that provides informative visual options.

The program installs easily, giving you the option to launch it immediately after installation. The player features a file browser that displays drives, directories, libraries and folders on your computer. You use the browser to select the file or files that you want to play.

The contents of the drive, directory or library that you select will be displayed on the main part of the window to the right. The program collapses folders and sub-folders on the left panel and displays their audio files on the right panel.

Clicking any item displayed here loads the audio and starts playing. The file's waveform will be displayed on the upper part of the user interface, with clear indication of the section being played. Playback buttons are arranged just below the waveform section. By default, the player displays the remaining duration, but you may click on it to display the elapsed time instead and vice versa.

You may choose to play files sequentially, stop after the current file, loop current track indefinitely, repeat a section of the current file or keep playback position and loop when switching files. When you are playing stereo files, you may use crossfeed to reduce listening fatigue.

If you do not want to display the waveform, you may choose among different types of equalizers, including musical spectrum, logarythmic frequency analyzer and linear frequency analyzer.

Apart from playing individual files, you may choose to play the previous or next folder. When you select a folder, the status bar at the bottom of the window displays the total number of items and size.

You can configure Resonic Player in various ways. The areas that you can configure include playback, visualization, interface, file list and sound banks. You may also enable and assign global hot-keys that you can use even when the player is in the background.

Resonic Player is a versatile audio player that supports over 20 music and audio file formats in addition to playing audio in video files. It has different visualizations, including waveform view, musical spectrum and frequency analyzer. You can configure the free player to suit your personal preferences.
