You must install wireless adapter driver to use 160WiFi. The program will detect the driver and update it if necessary.

When we launched the software, it displayed SSID and password, both of which we could edit. In the center of the small user interface was a large button for turning on the free WiFi hotspot. However, it automatically turned the hotspot on after its launch.

The software listed the connected devices on the main program window, and we could manage them as we wanted. For example, we could limit their respective upload and download speeds or even blacklist them. We could also set a time limit after which the connection shut down automatically.

While the program allowed us to share our PC Internet connection with other devices nearby, it also enabled us to protect our wireless hotspot with a password. It ensured that no one could use our connection without permission.

Apart from sharing Internet connection, the program made it easy to transfer files between connected devices. We could view the files on our smartphone or create their backup copies on the computer.

If you install OSToto Hotspot on your Android or iPhone, you can use the smartphone to control various functions on the computer. Simply scan the QR code found on the desktop software to download the appropriate phone app. The things you can do include handling the gamepad, operating the music player, using microphone, putting the computer to sleep and restarting it.

The software includes a speed function that lets you test your network speed. You only need to click on the speed icon on the lower left section of the program window.
