If you want one place where you can watch TV channels, movies and other videos, then Stremio is your software of choice. As its name indicates, the player gives you the opportunity to watch HD movies online without having to download them. This is especially handy if you do not have lots of disc space for storing large movie files.

Using Stremio

You can register to use the player, sign in with your Facebook account or as a guest.

On the upper part of the graphical user interface were several tabs named Discover, Library, Calendar and Board. The Board tab did not display anything for us though. The discover tab allowed us to find movies we could be interested in, while the Library tab displayed the movies we added to our library. We could also add channels and series to the library.

Different movie categories were listed on the left part of the program window, and clicking a category displayed the contained videos in the center pane. Details of the selected movie appeared on the right pane. On the lower right corner of the window was a button that allowed us to show the movie.

We had the option to either watch HD movies or SD ones. However, not all movies had both options. The movies started playing as soon as we selected the desired option, and we could stop playing them to resume later where we left off. The resume option was especially ideal when we had to attend to other matters.

Apart from using Streamio to watch television, we also had the option to watch people's channels on YouTube in addition to channels from other sources.

In addition to displaying high quality graphics, the player delivered great audio, which sounded even better when we connected our computer to a good speaker system.

We could easily switch to full screen mode by double-clicking on the play window. Another double-click took us back to window mode.

Conclusion

Stremio streams high quality videos with minimal buffering, allowing you to enjoy what you are watching. You can use it to watch HD movies and even TV series. However, you may find that some series have not yet been uploaded to the Stremio database. Having tested the platform for a few days, we can assure you that they keep adding to their database frequently.
