Floomby is an intriguing portable screen capture tool with graphic editing capability. Easily capture any portion of the screen, and the resulting high-quality image is instantly available and conveniently saved on the Floomby webserver and consequently made available for online sharing.

This free download is small in size and installation is quick and easy. The application will launch upon completion of its installation, and you'll be able to view and personalize the settings, including Sound and Flash options and showing the cursor in the screenshot. Floomby is then minimized to the tray.

• Press both mouse buttons at the same time
• Use traditional keystrokes:
• PrintScreen for a screenshot of the screen area
• Alt/PrintScreen for the active window
• Shift/PrintScreen for the entire screen
• Click the icon in the tray, then right-click to select an area of the screen
• Right click on the empty part of the desktop to bring up a menu and click 'Capture region'

The screenshot can be saved as a PNG or JPG image and then either be uploaded for sharing or saved locally. Alternatively, it can be saved to the clipboard for insertion into another application. The 'Settings' tab gives you the option if needed to always save screenshots locally.

The editor is accessed by holding the Ctrl key while taking the screenshot using any one of the above methods. A pencil icon will display beside the cursor. Pressing the Ctrl key again after selecting the screen area will disable editing. The editor allows you to insert text and draw lines and shapes. There are pen shape, arrows and color options. The application's 'Editor' tab gives you the option to always activate it if you wish.

Screenshots are saved to the Floomby server by default unless you change the settings. Membership of the Floomby website is optional. A user account is not required to upload and share screenshots, but it will provide you with extra features browsing, retrieving and removing images, for example.

Either Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8 or Windows 10 (32 or 64 Bit) is required with 4 Mb hard drive space and 128 Mb minimum RAM and a minimum 800 MHz processor.
