Many people take shortcuts with their passwords because managing multiple complex passwords is challenging. They sometimes use login credentials that are easy to remember, but these are also easy to guess. Others use the same passwords in multiple places, which leaves them vulnerable because cracking the password gives access to different locations and data. Icecream Password Manager will help you store and easily manage secure passwords.

When you launch Icecream Password Manager for the first time, you will be required to create a vault. You need to specify the vault's name, password and hint that reminds you of your password. You may also import data from a file or Dropbox client. The strong password that you create is the only one that you will need to remember.

Once you enter the main program interface, you will see application categories arranged on a panel on the left side of the window. Simply click on the category that you want, such as logins, credit cards, bank accounts, passports or software licenses and then add an item. The type of item that you want to add will appear on the middle pane and you will enter or view its details on the right pane. The details that you enter will depend on the type of item selected.

Once you have entered all the required details in relevant categories, the left panel will give you a quick summary of the number of items in each category. Clicking a category will list its content and selecting an item in the pane will display its associated details.

If you want to change your master password or the name of your vault, then you can do so from the "Settings" menu. Other functions that you can configure include the minutes it takes for the program to lock automatically without any activity and login mode. By default, the program locks automatically when a screen saver starts, clears the clipboard in 60 seconds, performs automatic backups everyday and checks for updates.

Icecream Password Manager is a powerful program that not only enables you to securely keep your passwords but also helps you to generate strong passwords.
