Screen Dragons 2.2

Screen Dragons does not refer to some scary monsters but a stand-alone application that displays frameless, movable and resizable images on the screen, which can be used for various purposes. The application is compatible with many image formats except icons.

You simply need to extract files from the downloaded archive and save them to your preferred destination. Creating a desktop shortcut will enable you to access it faster irrespective of its location. You can set it in the context menu, which will create an entry in the Windows Registry.

When you run the executable file for the first time, the application opens the default image of a dragon. You can load images in different ways, including dragging either images or folders onto the application or its desktop shortcut, pasting images or folders, or via the context menu for the selected image or folder. Doing any of these creates an internal list, which replaces any previously existing list. Using the context menu runs a new copy of the application. You can run multiple copies of Screen Dragons.

The application allows you to directly save the currently displayed image in Bitmap, JPEG or PNG format. If you would like to save the image in another format, you can copy it to the Clipboard and open with another program.

Apart from copying images in the usual way, you can grab them. While copying processes the image itself, grabbing picks everything in the area. If the image is transparent, for example, grabbing also captures the background. This gives you the opportunity to adjust the background to match where you want to use the image. You may even place one screen dragon on top of another to create the desired blend. Screen Dragons allows you to add anything that can be turned into an image to a capture.

Screen Dragons is a unique application for displaying images on the screen. Since you can open multiple application windows, you may use it to arrange images as you want to create a picture collage among other things. It supports several mouse and keyboard functions.
