An application that meets all requirements for home media viewing, SCTV is a media player, library, and recorder that puts all the relative information about a specific media file right at your fingertips.
The SCTV Home Theatre Multimedia System from SCTech LLC will, in effect, change the way you organize and categorize your media files, as well as how you access and play them on your television. It's an entertainment application that runs on a computer connected to a television. Media files are accessed via an intuitive media library on a file server and played on an integrated media player. It can be used with a wireless mouse or keyboard, remote control, motion detection and image recognition or controlled by voice commands.
The Windows tool has support for TV, music and image files, and the capability to automatically search the internet to retrieve information on every movie, music file and television show that the application finds on your system. Cover images, descriptions, titles and ratings are downloaded and displayed in your library.

DVDs can be played and/or recorded. Once a disc is recorded it is stored in your media library, and you can watch it directly from there. Descriptions, ratings and cover shots are included when you record the disc. Once in your library, DVD files can be browsed and searched, and playlists can be created.
Use the CD player to play or record music CDs. Just like your DVDs, your music discs can be recorded as they are played and stored in your library where they can be browsed and searched. You can download from your iPod and pictures and videos can be added, and playlists, custom shows, and categories can all be created. You can upload files to your iPod too, and even listen to your favorite radio stations via the internet.
You can use SCTV to import, categorize and organize all your photographs and home videos. You can edit them and add music to create custom slideshows!
Your free SCTV Home Theatre is compatible with Windows XP and up. It is a media tool that supports movie, television, music and image files which automatically looks up information of your files and comes with support for Netflix, Pandora, Fox.com and many more media sources.
