FileOptimizer supports batch conversion, which makes it convenient for you to compress many files simultaneously. The simple GUI allows you to drag files and drop them on the files grid. You can also add directories and files to process on the applications command line. Right-clicking the grid opens a context menu that allows you to add or clear files and optimize all files among others.

The program uses different engines depending on the type of file being converted. In addition to file names, it displays original sizes, optimized sizes and percentage of compression. It keeps the original files in the recycle bin in case you may need them for some reason.
